My Weekend - 11th & 12th Feb 12

Hi Dolls

I know I have been MIA for a while (sorry x), I have had a crazy time at work and what little time I have had at home as been spent on my wonderful hubby and the baby (Darwin).

so i thought i would just share with you all what i did this weekend.

Saturday (11/02/12)

I went into the office from 7.30 - 12, i don't work weekends (and i defo don't get paid for it) however work has been soooo crazy i just needed to go in and get some stuff sorted so i could catch up.

In the afternoon i did some boring house work, played with Darwin and did some catching up on you tube and on other peoples blogs.

In the evening we had my brother from another mother and the hubby's best mate come over to watch rugby and eat pizza unfortunately the rugby got called off (due to the state of the pitch ) and for some reason the BBC filled that air time with country music! so we all just ate pizza chilled out and had a laugh. I'm sad to say i had a few to many vanilla vodkas and cokes so was fast asleep before 11.30 lol.

Sunday (12/02/12)

woke up around 8.30 and i didn't have a hang over :) played with Darwin and gave him his breakfast, hubby got up a about an hour after. Hubby and I nipped out for a couple of hours went to three shops.

The Range - purchased a drink, some cards, a cake box, toy pig & a toy rabbit for Darwin.
Pets at Home - Purchased some cow ears & a new pull toy.
a local garden centre - a ring toy & some dog treats. Also while we were here we checked out the pet section. lots of cool fish, lizards, snakes and spiders.

Came home ate cold pizza and watched the football highlights (Blackburn Rovers V's QPR). Hubby took Darwin out for a long walk and i cracked on with some baking. I'm making cake balls to take into work on valentines day and a cake for us.

we are going to have a homemade Chinese for our evening meal and then watch a movie have a snuggle all chilled out and ready to take on another week.

All i need to do now is figure out how to get this red food dye off my hands

My Morning - 03/01/12

First Song I listened to: The theme tune to the TV show Big Love (not the beach boys one).
First person i saw: Hubby
First thing I ate: nothing yet, but i going to make some french toast in a bit
First thing i drank: glass of water
What i am doing today: I have the day off work so i think i am going to go into town for a little retail
what i wore - Photo is taken in my bathroom as the lighting was off in the room i normally do this in.  Cardi is from primark, dress from ASOS, belt from topshop,

My Morning - 02/02/12

First thing I ate - Apple
First thing i drank - Cup of Tea
What i am doing today - Work
what i wore - dark jeans, black vest, red jumper ,Bear paw grey boots.

I feel i need  to explain about how "dressed down" i have been for work this week. I live in a part of the world that doesnt cope very well with weather exremes. Too much sun and we have a drout, too much rain and we have areas flooded for days, too much wind we have trees falling down everywhere killing people and damaging peoples homes and if we get a light sprinkle of snow the whole place stops dead!. schools / offices / shops / even churchs close, in the stores that open we dont have a lot of food because it cant get here, then the pipes freeze and people dont have water and in some villages the power goes.  We might be getting snow soon it was - 2 yeasterday when i came to work and it was - 4.5 this morning. so the whole office is dressing in such a way that if it snows and we close the office we can all walk home. Its a large county with not a lot of money most of the roads are more like lanes and most have them have been damaged by over use of tractors etc sooooooooooooooooooooo i need to be prepared  to walk home and be as warm as possible doing so.
