what I wore to work this week - Plus size OOTD

Hi Dolls


This blog is going to show you what I wore to work this week, so it also doubles up as an plus size OOTD. Firstly a little about where i work, i work in an office it doesn't have a strict dress code but most people dress smart casual.




Things I never take off

I always have on my engagement ring and my wedding band, I feel completely naked without them.


Make up


This is kind of goes without saying but work make up is a very natural look.

With this outfit i also wore thick black tights and black knee high boots.


Tuesday

Hair - Straight half up half down
with this outfit i wore a pair of black dolly shoes


Wednesday

Trousers - as before
vest - as before
cardigan - Monsoon (black)
necklace - Charity shop (blue / white / brown)
Hair - Simple ponytail with a a section of hair wrapped around the band


i didn't wear any earrings as the necklace is such a statement piece   , (i often wear items like this if i am block colouring with my clothes). I wore black dolly shoes with this.


Thursday 

Cardigan - New Look (black)
Dress - South (blue)
Earrings - Gift (Pearls)
Hair - High big bun (polished not messy)


also with this i wore think black tights and black knee high boots.


Friday

Jeans - New Look (dark blue)
Top - George / ASDA (cream)
Belt - Evans (gold and silver)
Earrings - Accessorise (silver, pink, lilacs and blues)
Hair - Big loose boho curls


i wore my dark brown uggs to finish this outfit.

The Feeling - I love it when you call

This song always reminds me of Glasto festival, the hubby and I was at the pyramid stage all wellied up it was pouring with rain (like it always does) we have just had a load of jello shots in the middle of the day while stood under a tree.

And then this song start to play...

Now i don't know if you have ever been to this festival or seen it on TV but the Pyramid stage is at the bottom of a gentle hill and its almost always rammed full but for on this occasion it was rather clear so after guzzling our jello shots the hubby and I started bouncing / dancing / running down from the very top of the hill to almost the very front of the stage singing along at the top of our lungs. As a result this song always makes we think of Glastonbury.

Also the feeling are awesome live I have seen them a few times and they always put on a really entertaining show.

Family Walk

Today was one of those rare Sundays were both me and the hubby was up early, so we decided to go for a family walk.

I must explain that Darwin gets three walks a day however big walks like this takes both of us to do as he's still so nervous. Darwin is  rescue dog and was in kennels for six months before we got him, he also wasn't treated very well by his last owners so has trust issues, he doesn't like rain or mud add to that he's scared of most dogs and you can see why this is a two man job.

Today we went to the great flat lode, South Wheal Frances (Cornwall).  South wheal Frances lies roughly in the middle of the Great Flat Lode with its area bounded to the north east by the sett of Wheal Basset and to the south west by Grenville United sett. the area has a lot of mining history and was granted world heritage status back in July 2006. This area has loads of different walks and is used mostly Horse riders and dog walkers. For more information on this check out the link below

So it was a dry but windy day today so we all wrapped up warm with our coats and scarfs, even Darwin had his jumper on under his coat. It was a quick trip in the car and we were happy to see not many other cars there (this means less dogs). We hope that one day he will become more comfortable with other dogs but we are going to take him to classes for this and not risk it by ourselves. All in all it was a great walk Darwin loved all the new smells even the fresh horse poop he tried to rub his face in (luckily we were able to stop him).

Day 1 - favourite file - this is easy Human Traffic- Its funny, gives me some flash backs of my own teenage years and the soundtrack is awesome. All the main actors are spot on and it even has a bit part for Andrew Lincon you i love love love. This is a great movie everyone should watch it.
