My own 30 day challenge - Day Seven Wednesday

Hi Dolls
Back to work today, spent far to much time in meetings.
What I ate and drank today
 
1 plum
1 cuecumber
25 green grapes
25 blueberries
1 banana
1 bowl of home made split pea soup
Nakd bar (Cashew cookie)
 
7 pint of water
1 bottle FRUGO ultra black

I am really not a happy bunny today

My own 30 day challenge - Day six Tuesday


Hi Dolls
I took an extra day off work to extended the bank holiday weekend, i feel soooooooooo much better today.
What I ate and drank today
1 slice of water melon
1 pear
25 green grapes
25 blueberries
1 banana
1 bowl of home made split pea soup
4 strawberrys
4 pint of water
1 can organic cola (whole earth) 160 cal

Had a good day however i am really REALLY missing cheese and am starting to hate green things

My own 30 day challenge - Day 5 Bank holiday Monday


Hi Dolls

Hungover is not the word.... Almost dead is more like it lol

I couldn't face much today 

What I ate and drank today

1 medium size banana 95 cal (each)
1 large carrot 21 cal each
2 linda Macartney Sausages 152 cal
3 Falafels 135 cals 
Steamed spinach 25 cal

6 pints of water
250ml Frugo ultra black 100 cal

528 cal

I know thats a really low intake and would never normally eat so little i was just to "poorly" to face any thing else.

My own 30 day challenge - day four sunday

Hi Dolls

Had a very productive morning today as we decided to have a little gathering so I had to make the house presentable and sort out nibbles (all veggie of course). How ever I found out the hard way that veggie katy is a lightweight lol. Three vodkas and the rest of the night is all blury, so today is another day where I can't give a full count of what I ate.

What I remember eating and drinking

Half a watermelon
Banana
Nakd bar
Veggie buffet ??????????

2 pints water
1 pint apple juice
At least 3 vodkas and apple juice

So the day was a lot of fun and I was defo veggie but most of it was in a blur

My own 30 day challenge - day three saturday


Hi Dolls

I spent the day with one of my girlfriends, we went shopping and had lunch. We went to this awsome veggie place, it was so pretty (and yummy). I had a full veggie english (I felt a little guilty for eating the eggs) some vegan chocolate cake and I picked up a slice of onion and green bean tart to take home.

What I ate and drank today (as I mostly ate out I don't have all the calories but you get the idea)

1 slice of brown toast 65 cal
Mushrooms 44 cal
2 veggie sausages 101 cal each
2 veggie bacon 60 cal each
2 eggs 92 cal each
Slice vegan chocolate cake
Vegan tart

Veggie All day breakfast - very yummy (however i didn't eat the tomato)

Vegan chocolate cake & my friend had vegan key lime pie with ice cream

It was a great day but again i was sooooooooo tired, i ended up going to bed before ten (a normal saturday night i would be up till 2am).

My own 30 day challenge - Day 2 Friday


Hi Dolls

Had a killer headache all morning, didn't think much of it as some times i get these at work. it was only when my friend pointed out its prob caffenine withdrawal! now i don't drink coffee and my choice of tea is normally earl grey but i do normally hit my first red bull by 10.30 most week days and i average three a day but i didn't think it would have this kind of effect (and so quick) as i don't drink them at the weekend (well unless its with vodka or jager).

I got to around 3 / 3.30 and all of a sudden i was hyper it was like i had downed a red bull in one (of course this could have been the excitement of a three day weekend) but im not sure. I have herd about natural highs before but never vegan ones :)

when i got home from work i made a very yummy split pea soup, i love soup but i normally have it with bread and lashings of butter. however the ever friendly world of youtube gave me a awesome tip about simmering it for longer so it went thicker this way you feel fuller and wont miss the bread and i must say it worked.

Todays the day

Hi Dolls

Well today is the first day of my 30, last night i was really excited and now if I'm a little honest I'm abit worried (this is going to sound so fat ) but I'm worried about being hungry! I'm sure that's normal .....

I'm going to try and keep a food / mental health  journal so i can see if certain food fills me up / makes me happy. I think it should be interesting as i only know three vegans and they are all really happy people and i wonder if its all connected....i guess I'm going to find out

The night before

Well tomorrow is the start of my 30 day challenge, my shopping has just been delivered and I have to say I am really excited. I've got £ 78 pounds worth of fruit and veg and it looks beautiful :) I just hope I'm this excited this time this week.....

My own 30 day Challenge - I'm not ready

Hi Dolls

Its been a while.......

Things have been a little crazy since my last blog
  • I've turned 30
  • Things at work have changed around (in a good way)
  • I have invested more time in my youtube channel
  • I am in the process of redecorating my whole home
  • Darwin is as demanding as ever

These are not excuses they are more of an update on my little life.

As for the title of this blog, I have set myself my own 30 day challenge. I am going to try and do a 80% vegan diet for 30 days (and if I'm strong i hope for a high % of this to be raw). the reason for this is a mixture of things 1) being my skin, I'm now 30 and still suffer from "teenage skin" I clinique 123 twice a day so its not a dirt thing and its not an age thing I'm think it it may be a toxin thing. 2) we are currently not trying not trying (i hope that makes sense) and a raw / fruit diet is meant to be great for giving fertility a boost 3) a little bit of weight lost would be a bonus.

However I'm not ready yet, I am having food shopping delivered on Wednesday evening so i guess my start date will be Thursday. the problem is i am already worrying about it and think i may turn crazy by doing a month without cheese!

i guess we will see...wish my luck
