My own 30 day challenge - Day 2 Friday


Hi Dolls

Had a killer headache all morning, didn't think much of it as some times i get these at work. it was only when my friend pointed out its prob caffenine withdrawal! now i don't drink coffee and my choice of tea is normally earl grey but i do normally hit my first red bull by 10.30 most week days and i average three a day but i didn't think it would have this kind of effect (and so quick) as i don't drink them at the weekend (well unless its with vodka or jager).

What I ate and drank today

1 medium size banana 95 cal (each)
1 large carrot 21 cal each
half a green pepper 4 cal
half a courgette 10cal
2 cherry tomatoes 2 each
10 green grapes 60cal
9 blueberrys 1 cal each
4 raspberries 1 cal each
2 apple 54 cal each
2 pear 60 Cal each

home made split pea soup  331 cal
yellow split peas 180
peas 50
1 carrot 21
1/2 courgette 10
1 red onion 66
1 glove of garlic 4

4 pints of water
500ml apple juice 220 cal

986 cal

I got to around 3 / 3.30 and all of a sudden i was hyper it was like i had downed a red bull in one (of course this could have been the excitement of a three day weekend) but im not sure. I have herd about natural highs before but never vegan ones :)

when i got home from work i made a very yummy split pea soup, i love soup but i normally have it with bread and lashings of butter. however the ever friendly world of youtube gave me a awesome tip about simmering it for longer so it went thicker this way you feel fuller and wont miss the bread and i must say it worked.
